Andre Gives to Albert is a small effort to raise awareness regarding the plight of refugee children in South Africa and to collect small donations for the children of the Albert Street School in Johannesburg. Please use the site to learn more about the challenges refugee students face while seeking education, the turmoil in Zimbabwe that is causing such an influx of asylum-seekers, and more about Andre Gives to Albert.
Please don’t feel pressured to donate. While one primary purpose of this effort is to raise donations for the Albert Street School, learning about these struggles is equally important. The most meaningful contributions to change are awareness and compassion. Also, please support the efforts of the Albert Street by passing along the word of this cause.
